Northwest Montessori Senior Directress - Sabuhi Chishty

Being a Montessori student once herself, Sabuhi Chishty joined NWMM in 2012 after moving to Melbourne from New Zealand with her family. Sabuhi has over 8 years experience in Montessori along with qualifications in Early Childhood. Prior to joining us, Sabuhi worked for 3 years at New Zealand’s leading purpose Montessori Pre-School ‘New Plymouth Montessori School’ where she was a Head Teacher/ Directress and taught both early childhood and primary education.

 

Verde Room Directress - Jayanthi Udugama (Coburg)

Jayanthi Udugama has been a Montessori directress for for over 27 years and is highly qualified in the education field. She believes that with proper guidance, the children are encouraged to grow naturally at their own pace and to develop their own unique personalities.

 

Verde Room Assistant - Sharifa Malik (Coburg)

Sharifa Malik has been working with children for many years and discovered Montessori 6 years ago. She is very passionate about the Montessori way of learning.

Viola Room Directress - Tammy Hollingsworth (Coburg)

Tammy Hollingsworth has been with NWMMP since 2005. She is a highly qualified Montessori Director with many years of experience working with young children.  Tammy’s consistent calm and commitment to the children has supported families, colleagues and Committee.

 

Viola Room Assistant - Lauren Colvin (Coburg)

Lauren Colvin, our Early Childhood teacher, has a very keen interest in Montessori and enjoys putting her tertiary qualifications into practice.  She works closely with Tammy leading the children through the Montessori experience.

 

 

Giallo Room Directress - Sabuhi Chishty (Essendon)

Giallo Room Assistant - Radisha Perera (Essendon)

Radisha has over 10 years experience in Montessori teaching.  She has a Diploma in Montessori which was completed with Association Montessori International (AMI) and is currently working towards her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care with Selmar Early Childhood Education Institute. Radisha’s most successful achievement along with working in 2 Montessori Schools in Sri Lanka, was when she was selected out of 200 students to migrate to the USA where she had the opportunity to work in a Montessori School for 3 years working with children from ages 2 to 5.  

 

 

 

Giallo Room Part-Time Assistant - Dil Wanigatunga (Essendon)

Dil has over 3 years experience in teaching and holds a Diploma in Montessori which she achieved in Sri Lanka prior to moving to Australia. Dil will be fulfilling 12 hours per week in the Giallo classroom at Essendon. .
